Waveguide Blocks

This package contains a number of lumped components based on waveguides: bends, crossings, splitters. Generic waveguides themselves are defined as Trace Templates

We subdivide waveguide components in the following categories:

• Bends: Lumped waveguide bends.

• Splitters: Components that split the light in separate beams.

• Directional Couplers: Directional couplers consisting of parallel waveguides.

• Crossings: Waveguide crossings.

• Gratings: Inline waveguide gratings.

• Bundles: Waveguide bundles.

• Spirals: Spirals.

• Connectors: Waveguide connectors which take references to ports as input
